Our Story
About Us —Piper's Playhouse
At Piper's Playhouse, everything started with one curious little parrot.
Piper, a blue and violet Indian Ringneck, came into my life full of personality, intelligence, and an endless desire to explore. When he was just a few months old, I noticed something simple — but important: he loved boxes.
One day, I gathered a few cardboard boxes from the garage and built him a small playhouse. I added openings, a few toys, a mirror, and a treat cup filled with seed.
What happened next changed everything.
Piper lit up with excitement. He strutted through the playhouse, peeked through the windows, climbed in and out, played with the toys, and explored every corner. He talked to himself — “Piper?” and “What are you doing?” — as if he was discovering a whole new world built just for him.
It wasn't just play — it was engagement, curiosity, and instinct all coming together.
For weeks, Piper returned to his playhouse daily. He chewed it, foraged in it, explored it, and made it his own… until one day, it finally fell apart.
And that was perfect.
Because that's what parrots are meant to do.
That moment sparked an idea: What if I could create something that wasn't just a toy — but a complete enrichment experience designed specifically for parrots?
Piper's Playhouse was born.
